This week Mariah sat down with the queen of tricky questions, Oprah Winfrey. Oprah did not sugar coat her interest about this specific passage in Mariah's book:

"When I was 12 years old, my sister drugged me with valium, offered me a pinky nail full of cocaine, inflicted me with third degree burns and tried to sell me out to a pimp."

When Oprah requested why she felt now was the time to air this dirty laundry, Mariah defined that she was motivated to speak out as a result of how badly Allison and her other members of the family have been treating her in recent times.

"I wouldn't have gone here if I hadn't been treated as an ATM machine with a wig on," she asserted.

Mariah added that her sister had all the time been merciless to her as a result of they grew up in several houses. She said Allison and their brother "just grew up with the experience of living with a Black father and a white mother together, as a family, and I was, for the most part, living with my mother, which they saw as easier, but in reality it was not."
