Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans have been left speechless this season, when the duo we concept we would never see falter took a completely surprising flip for the more serious.
To recap, on this season of RHOSLC, OGs co-stars, buddies and cousins - and, to not be forgotten, the iconically named "Bad Weather" combo - Heather Gay and Whitney Rose went through a phase of main tumult.
However, with the season simply about wrapped, Jen Shah officially sentenced to jail time, and Heather once once more following Whitney, we couldn't lend a hand but surprise where they stand today.
We stuck up with Heather to listen to about how she's feeling relating to their bond, within the aftermath of the storm, and whether or not or no longer she thinks their friendship will ever go back to the way in which that it once was once.
Heather Would Love To Rekindle Their Friendship
Asked if she had any hopes to salvage her friendship with Whitney, Heather does not want to consider carefully.
"I always want to salvage all of the relationships in my life," she starts.
And, she continues, her cousin and co-star is no exception to the guideline.
"I absolutely, certainly want to salvage things with Whitney, too."
Granted, the Bad Mormon writer jokes that patching up would require work from both herself and Whitney.
Enter, their most recent spot of drama ... that Instagram situation.
Heather's Thoughts On Whitney's Instagram Clapback
As eagle-eyed Instagram users will take note, soon after news of Jen Shah's sentencing broke in January this year, Heather re-followed Whitney.
However, it's safe to say Whitney's reaction wasn't precisely welcoming.
Asked what she idea about it, regardless that, Heather chuckles that she's now not precisely sure, herself.
"I don't know what the following thing was. It seemed like a little bit of a social media game that she wanted to play."
It's for this reason that she continues to say she hopes she and Whitney can get to a spot where they interact like they used to, with out the cameras.
"I'm not sure who Whitney is going to be on TV. She's changed a lot - and I just hope that the Whitney that shows up on TV is someone that I can tolerate," she laughs.
That said, she admits that no less than in the interim, there are nonetheless lines on their dynamic.
"Right now, it's not looking too good," she admits.
However, she doubles down on her previous comments that at the end of the day, all she actually needs is for their friendship to get again to a excellent place.
"I just hope she can be real, and heal."
"And," she concludes our chat, with a twinkle in her eye and a snicker in her voice, "That she can stop making up stories."
Who is aware of what the long run holds? All we can hope for, for now, is therapeutic all spherical - and maybe, simply possibly, we'll see a reconciliation of the enduring "Bad Weather" duo a while soon.
It does not appear too unlikely - a glance thru Whitney's Instagram finds that, drama aside, she's followed Heather again.
An indication of good issues to come? Here's hoping so. Either method, till we pay attention more from the ladies, themselves, we will be looking at Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on repeat, and reading Bad Mormon in our display breaks!
